Componibili Bio Kartell 3 doors Cream Kartell loves the planet A true pioneer, Kartell brings about a green revolution in presenting the first Bio-One bioplastic furniture. A 100% natural and 100% biodegradable material. This bioplastic is composed of renewable raw materials (vegetable waste), which with the addition of microorganisms, form a material similar to plastic. This bioplastic guarantees the same thermomechanical properties as conventional plastics, with the added advantage of being completely ecological and completely (100%) naturally biodegradable. It took many years of research to develop this high-tech bioplastic from the new ecological chemistry. Kartell embodies Italian excellence in the world. The experimentation of new technologies, including innovation in the use of plastic materials, is always the fulcrum of the innovation of its products. In 1968 the designer Anna Castelli Ferreri, wife of the founder of Kartell, created the famous Componibili. Produced for almost half a century, Componibili has become a true design classic over the decades. Awarded with numerous prizes, it is exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art in New York and at the Center Pompidou in Paris. Compact and versatile Componibili adapts to all home environments, on the ground or on a piece of furniture. It responds to different functions: bedside table in the bedroom, coffee table in the living room, small storage unit in the bathroom or kitchen, stool if necessary It is also compatible for outdoor use.
